Business Challenges

EgoKiefer had the goal of using the SAP components CATS (Cross Application Time Sheet) for accounting and time reporting. The working hours of the employees should serve as a basis for the distributions of the hours recorded. For the necessary processing the data needs to be  transferred into the respective SAP modules Logistics and Controlling. Especially challenging is the transfer of process orders to Logistics as it is not possible in standard SAP logic.

Consulting Highlights

HCM ADVICE developed an extension for EgoKiefer, which enables the employees to see how many hours they can still distribute. A split into internal and external activities is now also possible. Furthermore, data recorded with the help of the extension in CATS is now  transferred to individual process orders.

Duration

The time span from analysis to implementation, test and hand-over was four months long. About 80% of the hours were worked from remote and 20% directly on-site at EgoKiefer.

Among the follow-up activities are the continuous support of CATS as well as the implementation of various optimisations.
