Our IT consulting services cover the still widely used SAP HCM On-Premise environment consisting of ESS/MSS (Employee Self-Service, Manager Self-Service), time management, billing, etc. as well as the new age of cloud technology comprising of SAP SuccessFactors, Concur and the cloud platform of SAP. SuccessFactors is the flagship system from SAP. SuccessFactors offers a perfectly coordinated system by combining modules from across the various stages of the employee life cycle, starting with planning, recruiting, onboarding, to goal setting and performance reviews, learning management and much more. Together with SAP Concur, which has already revolutionised the way we manage travel, we offer the complete package of expertise and advice for corporate human experience management of the 21st century.

Recruitment Process

A positive working environment is important to us. That’s why we always look for candidates who would really fit into our team and take time during the application process to get to know each other.

How to apply to HCM ADVICE:

Upload your CV by following the link under the relevant vacancy or send us your complete application by e-mail (including CV, school and training certificates, photo as well as your salary expectations and preferred weekly hours) to hcm@hcm-advice.com.

We will review your documents carefully.

If you meet the necessary requirements, you will be asked to attend our assessment center.

Following a successful assessment center, you will be invited to further interviews with managers and/or future colleagues.

The final decision is then made by the team.

Assessment Center

What can you expect at our Assessment Center? We have grown rapidly in recent years and have perfected our recruitment process to enable us and our applicants to get a good idea of whether or not working together makes sense. The aim of the assessment center is not to put you in a stressful situation but rather to give us and you the opportunity to determine whether HCM ADVICE is right fit. Please allow between three and four hours for the assessment center. You will be given some tasks that you will be asked to solve on your own. Afterwards we will go through your results together and you will receive immediate feedback. The next step will be a more in-depth interview where we can get to know you better and you also have the opportunity to ask questions about the company and the role itself.

Why do we include certificates and an assessment center in our recruitment process? High achievers like to work with high achievers. That’s we always pay close attention to the credentials of our applicants during the recruitment processes. While grades and qualifications don’t tell us everything about an individual applicant, they do give us an idea of your knowledge and strengths. For us, it’s particularly important to be able to recognise your development throughout your school, university and professional training.

The Assessment Center helps us and you to determine the extent of your professional know-how. Assessment will vary depending on the level of the position you are applying for.

„Relationships with customers can vary:

  • With some customers I am very polite, very professional
  • But with other customers I have a more personal relationship and can be more familiar

What does your typical day look like?
„A typical day here begins with the view of St. Stephen’s Cathedral from our beautiful, modern offices, which is a reason for our positive mindset. Once the laptop and additional monitors are turned on, it’s time to read e-mails and prioritize the topics for the day. From then on, the day looks like a colorful bouquet of various different flowers, with a combination of customer appointments, system implementations, internal meetings, and e-mails – whereby each flower blooms at a different time of the day and needs your attention. Between the blooms we enjoy a coffee or a tea and eat lunch together, to recharge our batteries.“

How were your fist weeks at HCM ADVICE?
„My start here was better than I could ever have imagined! I received constant support from my mentor, was immediately involved in customer topics, and learned something new every day (which is still the case). I instantly felt just as accepted and appreciated by my new colleagues here as back in my home country of Bulgaria.“

„At HCM ADVICE everyone is on an equal footing. We work accurately and enjoy doing a good job and overcoming challenges together. „Each person can decide themself the direction in which they wish to develop – whether to develop themself as an expert in their own specialist area, manage increasingly large projects as a project manager, or build his or her team of employees.

Everyone has the opportunity to take on responsibility and grow. Anyone who is motivated and delivers outstanding results receives direct feedback – those efforts are recognized and promoted.

„The working day is demanding but not overwhelming. Everyone decides themself the extent to which he or she utilizes their own capacities. All in all, my working day is quite balanced and I still feel full of energy after work.

In the end phase of projects there is, of course, always a lot to do, but I grow with every successfully completed project. The knowledge that we always support each other in the team ultimately makes every challenge doable.“

“When I go to HCM ADVICE each morning, I look forward to seeing my employees. I founded HCM ADVICE in 2009, after many years’ experience in SAP Human Capital Management working as a management consultant, a personnel officer, an interim manager, and in corporate finance. We started out working with some of my former clients and through their positive feedback and referrals, we have been growing steadily ever since. We welcome motivated candidates, or rather the next generation of HCM ADVICE managers, who want to build up and expand the company with us.”
